Leadership

Daniel Asti, Managing Partner

Mr. Asti has over 35 years of experience helping his clients. He began his career in the commercial advertising business setting sales and recruiting records nationwide. In 2006 he entered the insurance and financial services industry when he founded Team Dream Financial, which ultimately grew into Alto Financial Group. Over the last fifteen years, Mr. Asti has developed innovative training systems that have helped our agents and advisors understand how to serve their clients better, and allowed Alto Financial Group to grow to over 200 agents and advisors in 28 states focused on the public employee sector of the financial services industry. Dan holds a Series 65 license and maintains life insurance and fixed annuity licenses in 17 states.

 

Benjamin Hulburt, Managing Partner

Benjamin Hulburt has over twenty years of entrepreneurial and financial experience. He has founded and grown two successful publicly traded companies into multi-billion dollar enterprises. Mr. Hulburt brings a unique set of skills to Alto Financial Group which include significant financial markets experience having led two initial public offerings on both the NYSE and the NASDAQ, numerous secondary public equity offerings, private debt offerings, public debt offerings and private equity fund raising efforts, as well as numerous mergers and acquisition transactions over his twenty-year career. Mr. Hulburt began his professional career as an active duty commissioned officer in the United States Army, leaving the service holding the rank of Captain. He served as a Director of Rex Energy Corporation (NASDAQ) from March 2007 to October 2010, and as Chairman of the Board of Eclipse Resources Corporation (NYSE) from 2015 to 2019. Mr. Hulburt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Hulburt was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 in the Western Pennsylvania region and was named to the Top 40 Executives Under 40 by Fortune Magazine in 2013.  Ben maintains life insurance and fixed annuity licenses in 26 states. 

Danielle Asti, Vice President of Operations

Danielle Asti has been with the company since its inception and has worked in the business since since she was 17, planning company conferences as large as 2000 attendees at the age of 19.  Dani is responsible for managing the company's operations team including agent relations, contracting, training and human resources departments.   Ms. Asti was also instrumental in the creation and administration of Alto University, the company's proprietary training academy.   She attended Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts as a Film Major.  

Amber Alguire, Partner

Mrs. Alguire entered the financial services industry in 2011. She specializes in helping people and families create the legacy they want and have the lifestyle they long for in retirement. Her clients choose her to be their advisor because she cares about their personal needs and goals and she truly listens to what matters to them. Amber believes in reviewing and educating her clients on their retirement plan options including their current plan and life insurance, so they have the best education and understanding possible. “It’s important to contact a Financial Advisor for the exact reason I stated above, there are so many questions regarding saving and retirement and if it’s not your strong point or what you study and went to school for, it is hard to truly grasp everything you could know and take advantage of that you may enjoy that are out there.” Mrs. Alguire graduated from Towson University with dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Finance. She resides in Harford County, Maryland, where she lives with her husband Jedidiah and their two children.

Larry Daniels, Partner

Larry Daniels began working with public employees in financial services in 2012. As a former public employee, he shares a unique first-hand experience of the lack of education received in the workplace. As a contract’s attorney for the largest municipality in New Jersey, Mr. Daniels worked as part of a team that negotiated contracts with major utility companies, managed public bid processes, and drafted legislation. He was often asked to audit the application of public bid formulas to ensure they were factored accurately and fairly. Mr. Daniels’ unique blend of legal and financial expertise has helped him craft everything from simple retirement plans to complicated mixed-strategy plans for his clients and their employers. Mr. Daniels received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stockton University, prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate from the Drexel University School of Law. In addition to his current work in financial services, he serves in a variety of pro bono roles for several nonprofits in his role as an attorney. He is an Investment Advisor Representative, offering advisory services through Verity Asset Management [Registered Investment Adviser]. Chelsea Coleman, Partner

Chelsea Coleman has over 20 years of sales, service, and customer relations experience. Including 10 years in financial services and entrepreneurship. Her attention to detail provides Alto Financial Group with the support of a common purpose to help our agents and clients reach their financial goals. Miss Coleman has helped over 350 of her clients to customize their retirement solutions during her career with retirement, insurance, future planning, and more. She is also a fully dedicated CEO of her household, with the blessing of three beautiful children. Her family has been her # 1 team that drives her WHY. She is a loyal member of her community, active in service as a volunteer, and a proud member of the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO). She maintains her life insurance licenses in PA, OH, MI, SC, NC, IL, TN.

Get to Know Chelsea Coleman

Cameron Clay, Agency Owner

Cameron Clay is a Pittsburgh, PA. native and Penn State University alum. His financial services career started in 2011, servicing union workers with supplemental life insurance. Frustrated with limited options for his clients, he joined Dan Asti in 2013, and began working in southwestern Pennsylvania offering life and retirement solutions on a much broader scale. He loves working directly with clients, helping to create customized strategies that meet their specific needs. When he’s not helping his clients make and save money, he’s serving as an Associate Pastor at Petra International Ministries and spending as much time as possible with his wife and children. He believes that we get the best out of life when we remain committed to help others along the way. Mr. Clay received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the Pennsylvania State University. He is an Investment Advisor Representative, offering advisory services through Verity Asset Management [Registered Investment Adviser]. Gene Harris, Agency Owner

Gene has over 30 years of financial, entrepreneurship, service, management & customer relations experience helping clients. He specializes in helping people and families create the legacy they want and have the lifestyle they long for in retirement. He prides himself in providing over the top customer service by helping to educate his clients on their current plans as well as options for them. Mr. Harris is an active member of his community by being the HOA President for both the community and house associations along with being on the local private swim club board. He currently holds life insurance and annuity licenses in MD, PA, NJ, DE, WV, VA, DC, GA and TX. Mr. Harris resides in Montgomery County, Maryland, where he lives with his wife, Theresa, and his son Michael.

Shaun McCarty, Agency Owner 

Shaun McCarty is focused on education and helping families achieve their desired retirement lifestyles and create their legacies. Mr. McCarty is great at this role because he cares about their personal needs and goals. His clients repeatedly state how he broke down their retirement into simple, discernible ideas. He is dedicated and driven, overcoming any obstacle that has been put in his way to make sure that his clients are well served. Mr. McCarty comes from a restaurant management background, where pennies really do count. He learned budgeting by costing out menus for multiple restaurants as well as working on monthly profit and loss sheets. Mr. McCarty is a constant student of his craft and never stops pushing himself to learn the ever-changing industry of finance. 
Mr. McCarty is Life Insurance & Annuity licensed in DC, PA, NC, VA, DE, WV, GA, TX, WS, ID, NA, and Maryland, where he lives with his wife Jennifer, an Occupational Therapist working in a special needs school, and their teenage daughter.

Eric Harkins, Agency Owner 

Eric has worked in the financial services industry for more than 14 years and is passionate about helping his clients secure their financial future.  He is currently licensed in twelve states.  He holds a bachelor degree in Law/Justice from Rowan University.  Mr. Harkins resides in Salisbury, MD. with his wife and enjoys historical research and woodworking.

Nick Farley, Agency Owner 

Nick Farley holds a bachelor’s in education from University of Central Arkansas, and Master of Ministry and Doctor of Ministry from Covington Theological Seminary.  He is a retired school superintendent having founded 10 charter schools and helping to found 15 others.  He is also a retired pastor.  He has been a licensed insurance agent for several years and has been certified as a master financial coach.  He has conducted numerous financial educational seminars. Nick is married with two grown daughters and three stepchildren. He is a former chaplain at a residential treatment center. He has written 13 books and has toured the US and several foreign countries conducting educational seminars.  When asked what his hobbies were, he stated that he enjoyed helping people.
