In 2006, Mr. Asti transitioned into the insurance and financial services sector, laying the foundation for Team Dream Financial, a venture that would evolve into the thriving entity known today as Alto Financial Group. Over the past fifteen years, he has played a pivotal role in the company's growth, transforming it into a powerhouse with over 200 agents and advisors spread across 28 states, focusing on the public employee sector within the financial services industry.

One of Mr. Asti's key contributions lies in the development of innovative training systems. Benjamin Hulburt, Managing Partner

 

With over two decades of entrepreneurial and financial expertise, Benjamin Hulburt stands as a dynamic force in the business world, recognized for his exceptional leadership in building and growing successful enterprises. Mr. Hulburt's illustrious career is marked by the founding and expansion of two publicly traded companies, both of which have flourished into multi-billion dollar entities.

A seasoned professional with a unique skill set, Mr. Hulburt brings a wealth of financial markets experience to his role at Alto Financial Group. His impressive track record includes steering two initial public offerings on both the NYSE and the NASDAQ, overseeing numerous secondary public equity offerings, private debt offerings, public debt offerings, and private equity fundraising efforts. Additionally, he has played a key role in orchestrating various mergers and acquisition transactions, showcasing his versatility and strategic acumen.

Before making his mark in the business world, Mr. Hulburt commenced his professional journey as an active duty commissioned officer in the United States Army, eventually leaving the service with the rank of Captain. This early experience instilled in him a sense of discipline, leadership, and determination that would prove invaluable in his subsequent entrepreneurial ventures.

Mr. Hulburt's contributions extend beyond the boardroom, as evidenced by his role as a Director of Rex Energy Corporation (NASDAQ) from March 2007 to October 2010 and as Chairman of the Board of Eclipse Resources Corporation (NYSE) from 2015 to 2019. His strategic guidance and leadership have left an indelible mark on the companies he has been associated with, contributing to their growth and success.

A proud alumnus of Pennsylvania State University, Mr. Hulburt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. His academic foundation, coupled with his wealth of practical experience, positions him as a well-rounded leader with a deep understanding of financial dynamics.

Mr. Hulburt's achievements have not gone unnoticed, as he was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2010 in the Western Pennsylvania region. Furthermore, Fortune Magazine recognized his outstanding contributions by naming him one of the Top 40 Executives Under 40 in 2013.

Danielle Asti, Vice President of Operations

Danielle Asti has over 19 years experience in financial services operations management. Mrs. Asti is responsible for managing the company's operations team including agent relations, contracting, training and human resources departments.   Mrs. Asti has been instrumental in the creation and administration of Alto University, the company's proprietary training academy.  Ms. Asti ensures our agents have a seamless business operation as well as serving as the President of Alto University, our unique training system that has led well over 100 agents succeed through our unrivaled training courses.   She attended Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts as a Film Major.

 

Amber Alguire, Partner

Larry Daniels, Partner

 

In 2012, Larry Daniels embarked on a mission to revolutionize financial services for public employees, drawing upon his unique first-hand experience as a former public servant. His journey, rooted in addressing the lack of education prevalent in the workplace, has positioned him as a transformative figure in the industry.

Larry's professional background as a contracts attorney for the largest municipality in New Jersey provides him with a distinctive perspective. Working as part of a team responsible for negotiating contracts with major utility companies, managing public bid processes, and drafting legislation, he gained a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of the public sector. Larry's role often involved auditing the application of public bid formulas, ensuring accuracy and fairness—an experience that shaped his commitment to transparency and equity.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stockton University before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the Drexel University School of Law. In her 10 years within the financial services sector, Chelsea has emerged as a trusted advisor, guiding over 350 clients in customizing comprehensive retirement solutions. Her expertise extends beyond retirement planning, encompassing insurance, future planning, and more. Chelsea's dedication to understanding the unique financial goals of her clients reflects her commitment to providing tailored solutions that prioritize their individual needs.

As a fully dedicated CEO of her household, Chelsea draws inspiration from her primary team—her three beautiful children. Cameron Clay, Agency Coach

Cameron Clay is a Pittsburgh, PA. native and Penn State University alum. His financial services career started in 2011, servicing union workers with supplemental life insurance. Frustrated with limited options for his clients, he joined Dan Asti in 2013, and began working in southwestern Pennsylvania offering life and retirement solutions on a much broader scale. He loves working directly with clients, helping to create customized strategies that meet their specific needs. When he’s not helping his clients make and save money, he’s serving as an Associate Pastor at Petra International Ministries and spending as much time as possible with his wife and children. He believes that we get the best out of life when we remain committed to help others along the way. Mr. Clay received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the Pennsylvania State University.  Gene Harris, Agency Coach

Gene has over 30 years of financial, entrepreneurship, service, management & customer relations experience helping clients. He specializes in helping people and families create the legacy they want and have the lifestyle they long for in retirement. He prides himself in providing over the top customer service by helping to educate his clients on their current plans as well as options for them. Mr. Harris is an active member of his community by being the HOA President for both the community and house associations along with being on the local private swim club board. He currently holds life insurance and annuity licenses in MD, PA, NJ, DE, WV, VA, DC, GA and TX. Mr. Harris resides in Montgomery County, Maryland, where he lives with his wife, Theresa, and his son Michael.

Eric Harkins, Agency Owner 

Eric has worked in the financial services industry for more than 14 years and is passionate about helping his clients secure their financial future.  He is currently licensed in twelve states.  He holds a bachelor degree in Law/Justice from Rowan University.  Mr. Harkins resides in Salisbury, MD. with his wife and enjoys historical research and woodworking.

Debbie Starkey, Agency Owner

Debbie has been serving clients in the greater Northwestern states for more than 26 years. She holds a Series 7 Securities license along with Investment Advisor Representative and Life and Annuity licenses which allow her to counsel clients in all aspects of their financial plans. Debbie’s expertise is truly listening to the client’s goals and concerns, paying special attention to the details that are so important to them. She has many years of experience in helping clients from the public sector, government sector, the self-employed and small business owners. She understands and takes seriously the very important role she plays as the financial professional in the lives of her clients. It is important to Debbie that her clients understand the full ramifications of each financial decision they institute. Debbie is active in many volunteer positions at her church and in the local community. Debbie resides in Lincoln County, Washington and enjoys the great outdoors with her husband Bob and her kids and 5 grandchildren. Jamie Roth, Agency Owner 

Mr. Roth has been helping families in the financial services realm since 2013. He is passionate about assisting his clients in all aspects of retirement planning such as State pension, social security, voluntary retirement accounts and life insurance. He takes pride in patiently educating his clients in the crazy world of retirement planning. His goal is to explain retirement planning in a clear, easy to understand way so that his clients can make a well-educated decision for their future. Jamie resides in Adams County, PA with his wife Kristin and their 5 boys.

He currently holds his state licenses in PA, MD, VA, OH, GA, DE, and MN.  

Shaun McCarty, Agency Owner 

Shaun McCarty is focused on education and helping families achieve their desired retirement lifestyles and create their legacies. Mr. McCarty is great at this role because he cares about their personal needs and goals. His clients repeatedly state how he broke down their retirement into simple, discernible ideas. He is dedicated and driven, overcoming any obstacle that has been put in his way to make sure that his clients are well served. Mr. McCarty comes from a restaurant management background, where pennies really do count. He learned budgeting by costing out menus for multiple restaurants as well as working on monthly profit and loss sheets. Mr. McCarty is a constant student of his craft and never stops pushing himself to learn the ever-changing industry of finance.

Evan Cargil, Agency Owner
